New service sparks interest with both brands and bloggers

It’s only a few weeks old but ‘Brand Meets Blog’ - the recently launched service by Melbourne blogger Louisa Claire has already sparked interest from both sides of the fence – bloggers interested in connecting with brands, as well as brands (and their PR agencies) keen to hook up with influential bloggers.

Originally launched essentially as a match-maker between the two parties (brands and bloggers), Louisa has now found herself helping out in more in a consulting role.

Louisa, who runs two blogs Everything is Edible and mummybloggersblog.com, says most of the interest is in the mummy blogger and lifestyle space, although she sees this quickly extending into the food and health categories.

“I want to create opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t exist (for either party),” she told BlogHUB.

The Age newspaper covered the story here.

Event @ Melbourne Museum

Brand Meets Blog’s inaugural event at Melbourne Museum generated editorial exposure on the Mumbrella marketing and advertising site.
