For years we’ve had growing pockets of blogging enthusiasts keeping the faith; today however, blogging in Australia has exploded from being somewhat of an ‘underground oddity’ into a mainstream phenomenon.
We have blogs about parenting and family life; marketing, PR, law and business; media and entertainment; art and craft; fashion, design and architecture; health and nutrition, technology, politics … not to mention seemingly hundreds of blogs dedicated to food, drink and lifestyle.
Enter BlogHUB – the heart of Australia’s blogging community.
BlogHUB is the online destination not only for Australia’s rapidly growing cadre of passionate bloggers but also for those interested in experiencing what blogs have to offer as well as learning more about the people behind them. We’re here to celebrate and promote blogging in Australia. Full stop.
Importantly, BlogHUB is a place of learning, sharing and connecting, where established and emerging bloggers can come together to expand their networks and learn more about the practice (and art) of blogging, as well as how to better promote their personal brand via the social web.
If you’re not a blogger, that’s okay too
BlogHUB acts as a central repository for Australian-based blogs (check out BlogHUB’s Australian Blog Directory).
There are so many talented and passionate Australians from all walks of life who are committed to sharing online their thoughts, opinions, ideas and knowledge – we’re confident you’ll find here a blog or two (if not more) about a topic that’s of interest to you.
Hi Trevor, sounds like a great mission. It is hard to find lists of good Australian blogs and when you do come across one they are often hopelessly out of date.
I know many people are jaded about blogging and think it’s now mainstream but I’m more like you. I believe this is just the beginning and I’m very excited to see where it will all go and be part of it!
Hi Annabel, thanks for stopping by…I’m like you, I think the blogging movement is just getting going and as more and more people are exposed to the medium (and understand it’s not as difficult as one would think), then the number of bloggers can’t help but grow.
A fantastic initiative, Trevor.
Offering a quality Australian directory is a nice area to fill, that has been lacking.
Keep up the great work.
Hi Trevor,
What a great project! Aussie blogosphere has grown so much in the past 12 months and there are a lot of great bloggers out there. It’s been incredible to watch.
PS: The link to the directory is broken.
