In the world of blogging, Darren Rowse (aka @problogger) is akin to Bono from the band U2.
Locally, he might escape recognition as he types away on his laptop in the food court at Westfield Doncaster; however, that is far from the case when he attends the likes of BlogWorld in Las Vegas and SXSW in Austin, Texas, where he is more often than not treated like a rock star.
While Darren might be best known for Problogger which helps people to make money from blogging, it’s his Digital Photography School blog that is the cornerstone to his success. And ‘cos he’s not busy enough, Darren also has another (new-ish) blog on the go called Feelgooder. Plus he writes ebooks and does the odd speaking and consulting gig.
A former top 25 Web Celeb (as listed by Forbes Magazine), Darren’s business is now big enough that he doesn’t need to write every post across his three blogs, giving him a bit of breathing space to devote some time in another growing community-based project called Third Tribe Marketing alongside blogging heavyweights Chris Brogan and Brian Clark (aka Copyblogger).
