The packed audience at yesterday’s Problogger Training Day event in Melbourne got a nice surprise when best-selling business and lifestyle author, Tim ’4-Hour Work Week’ Ferriss (pictured left) popped in for a quick chat with Mr Problogger himself, Darren Rowse.
Tim says he wants his blog posts to be more important two years from the time they’re posted, saying that “evergreen content and Google power” greatly increases the value of your blog.
Over 280 bloggers attended the jam-packed day, including a good number of people who flew in from interstate.
The event featured numerous speakers from Australia and overseas, including Chris Garrett, Chris Hunter (Bike EXIF), Phoebe Montague (Lady Melbourne) and Sonia Simone from Copyblogger fame.

Great to meet you yesterday Trevor. I admit it, I didn’t ‘know” who Tim Ferriss was…but I do now! How cool was the coup of Darren’s. At the airport before boarding my plane to Sydney, I saw copies of Tim’s book in Top 10.

Great to see this! Our surprise guest was definitely one of the highlights for me, but there were so many other good things to learn, and wonderful people to meet. Already looking forward to the next event!
